A Call, A Vision, A Mission

Beginnings Marked by Obedience

The history of the Timnath-Sérah Evangelical Mission began in 1996, when the Lord placed a clear and powerful vision in the heart of our Founding President: to proclaim salvation in Jesus Christ through the medium of music.

At that time, the ministry was known as Christian Music Festival Ministries, reflecting this initial call to proclaim the Good News through the melodies of praise.

This vision took concrete form through two main areas of focus:

the organization of outdoor evangelistic concerts, where the Word of life was proclaimed with faith and boldness;
fellowship gatherings, aimed at bringing together the Body of Christ, building bridges between different local churches, and encouraging unity in diversity.

A vision that expands over time

Faithful to this initial call, we have walked step by step, guided by the Holy Spirit. But God, in His wisdom, has gradually broadened our field of vision, revealing other spiritual and missionary needs.

Thus, the ministry evolved to become the Timnath-Sérah Evangelical Mission (METSE).

The name Timnath-Sérah, which means “abundant portion”, expresses the deep desire that drives our mission: to see every soul receive the fullness of life promised by Jesus Christ.

“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” - John 10:10

A vision rooted in eternity

The goals pursued by the Timnath-Sérah Evangelical Mission are not driven by short-term thinking. They are driven by a vision of eternity, rooted in faith, prayer, and obedience to God.

Confident in the calling we have received and supported by faithful partners, we believe that these goals will be fully accomplished, not by human strength, but by the grace of God.

🔹 OUR SPIRITUAL DNA

Radical Obedience to God

What makes the Timnath-Sérah Evangelical Mission unique is neither a human strategy nor impressive material resources. It is above all a story of radical obedience to God’s call.

Our founder made the courageous choice to leave a stable career as an accountant to answer the Master’s call—without a safety net, without a Plan B, but with complete faith and total dedication.

His purpose in life has remained unchanged: to participate in the expansion of God’s Kingdom and lead souls to Christ.

It is from this obedience, from this sincere passion for God, that the devotional “At the Master’s Feet” was born. More than just a spiritual book, it is the fruit of a consecrated life, designed to help every believer:

walk daily in God’s presence,
deepen their intimacy with Christ,
and discover and fulfill the divine destiny for which they were created.

Our DNA rests on three essential pillars:

obedience to God,
faithfulness to His Word,
a burning desire to see lives transformed for His glory.

🔹 OUR COMMITMENT: LOVE WITHOUT DISTINCTION

In the image of Christ, our mission is to share God’s love without distinction, regardless of race, gender, social background, political affiliation, or religious beliefs.

We firmly believe that:

the Gospel is for everyone,
every life has infinite value in God’s eyes,
the grace of Jesus Christ brings lasting transformation to those who receive it.
